Segment 1: Opening shot is of a man orating from a platform (possibly in Hyde Park), whilst a banner with the slogan 'London Again Says No to Fascism' can be seen in the background. Move to image of the crowd and same banner further away. Grainy. Cut to street scenes [Cable Street?], crowds milling. Oswald Moseley being driven through the streets and being saluted by the crowd. Some shots out of focus. Demonstrators marching, police - on foot and mounted. Close-ups of man with hand in pocket, a man selling newspapers with the headline "Fascist Attacks". Back to march, 'Aid for Spain' banner is seen passing by as the crowd moves into Trafalgar Square. Various speakers are filmed speaking from the base of Nelson's Column, interspersed with crowd shots. Final image is of a woman in a beret giving an impassioned speech.
